A DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The only DLC character not included in the Fighter Passes Piranha Plant was used as an early adopter bonus for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, available for free to anyone who registered the game to their account before January 31st 2019. It was released for free to owners of the game on January 29th and was made available for purchase on February 1st.

Joker steals the show when he joins the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game as a playable fighter! This speedy fighter wields a knife and a gun to rack up damage. When his Rebellion Gauge is full, Joker summons his Persona, Arsene, to immediately power up his attacks for a limited time. This pack also includes Mementos, a stage that changes colors, depending on which music track is playing! The leader of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, Joker from Persona 5, sneaks into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in Challenger Pack 1! This set also contains a new stage, Mementos, music from the Persona series, a Joker route in Classic Mode, and a Persona-themed DLC Spirit Board.

The Hero from the DRAGON QUEST series joins Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a playable fighter! Wielding the Supreme Sword of Light and a trusty shield, he can slice his foes and block incoming attacks. When Hero pulls up his Command Selection screen, he’ll have access to a random selection of spells that could turn the tide of battle in his favor! This pack also includes the Yggdrasil’s Altar stage, which sweeps across nearby areas around the sacred Tree of Life, as well as a selection of music from the DRAGON QUEST series.

Banjo & Kazooie join the battle! The missing piece of the puzzle has been found, as Banjo & Kazooie are joining the battle as a playable fighter! With Banjo’s bare hands to bruise rivals up close and Kazooie’s egg-cellent shooting skills, your rivals will be singing the blues in no time. For their Final Smash, these perfect partners call upon a flock of Jinjos and the Mighty Jinjonator to deal the final blow to any “feeble jerk” that may stand in their way! This pack also includes the Spiral Mountain stage (which umm…spirals!), as well as a selection of music from the Banjo-Kazooie series. Challenger Pack 7 was revealed to be a Minecraft addition featuring Steve and Alex as well as a Zombie and Enderman character skin. The DLC also adds 7 music tracks and the Minecraft World stage. Challenger Pack 8 was revealed to be Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII at The Game Awards. The character could be unlocked early, by players who had purchased the DLC or Season Pass, by defeating Sephiroth in an in-game challenge mode only available for the 5 days before release. "Sephiroth, armed with his ruthless Masamune sword and a desire to destroy, joins the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game as a part of the Fighters Pass Vol 2 DLC! This silver-haired swordsman is Cloud’s arch nemesis and one of the most iconic villains in gaming. Don’t be fooled by his chillingly calm demeanor, Sephiroth can deal some white-hot damage."

From the Tekken series, Kazuya Mishima brings his demonic DNA into the fray as a DLC fighter in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game. Kazuya’s fighting style captures the distinct style of the Tekken series as he gets up close and personal with heavy strikes and incredible comeback power. His specials tap into his Devil Gene with moves like the beam-shooting Devil Blaster and high-flying Devil Wings. The son of Tekken icon Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya has a chip on his shoulder and destructive power. What makes Kazuya Mishima unique in this game are his standard attacks—rather than 4 directional standard attacks, he has 8. This addition of diagonal inputs mimics his abilities in the Tekken games and make him an unpredictable fighter with a lot of combo options. The stage added with this fighter is the Mishima Dojo, which starts out with all four directions closed off. A strong launch or direct attack can shatter the walls and ceilings, allowing for opponents to get KO’d.

His other special attacks like Sonic Blade and Aerial Sweep will help you navigate the skies and keep opponents on their toes. Sora’s Final Smash, Sealing the Keyhole, will shut the door on your enemies and lock them away to oblivion!
